Usage Instructions and Guidelines:

You can enter either a complete or partial product part number or description to check inventory availability. Our product lines include Ferroxcube, Fair Rite products, Metglas, EPCOS, Magnetics, Finemet, Micrometals, Leadertech, Fair Rite International, and MMG. If you are not familiar with the various product lines’ nomenclature please reference the part number and description guidelines.

Ferroxcube:

All products are denoted by a description that identifies the product. You may enter all or part of the description. The more of the description you enter the more refined you search results will be.

Pot Cores: P18/11-3C81, P30/19-3B7-A250
Toroids: TX51/32/19-3C81, T58/41/18-3C11
E-Cores: E42/21/15-3C81, E19/8/5-3C81

Fair Rite Products:

A ten to fourteen-digit part number identifies all products. Entering all or part of the part number you are looking for will return search results from our inventory. The more of the part number you enter the more refined you search results will be.

Metglas:

All Metglas products are identified by a product description. All toroidal products begin with “MP”. All C-Core products begin with “AMCC”. The toroidal products have a total of ten (10) characters in their description such as MP7438MPFC. After the “MP” there will always be four numbers and then four letters. If you are not sure of the exact part number it is best to enter only a portion of it and sort through the query results. The C-Core descriptions will always have one or more numbers following the “AMCC” which designates the core size. In a few cases a letter may follow the number(s).

Examples: AMCC-40, AMCC-400, AMCC-16A

Bobbins for the C-cores use the same description designations as the cores with “BOB” added to the end such as AMCC-40BOB.

Why am I not getting any results when I search for part “ABC”? I know Elna has it.

When searching for a part in our inventory you must use our part number, not the manufacturer’s, to receive accurate results. Special characters, such as “/” and “-” must be included in the part number.

Why do some parts show “Call Elna Magnetics” under quantity?

When we run out of stock on a part, the inventory search will show “Call Elna Magnetics”. By calling us, we will be able to give you an estimate of when the part will be available.

What is a specification search?

When the specification search option is selected, our automated system will attempt to find specification sheets for the parts you are searching for. If one is found, the part number will be highlighted in red. When you click on that part number, a new window will open containing the specification sheet in PDF format.

That’s it? But I have more questions!
